AtheroEdge™ accepts medical images captured with most major ultrasound devices.  Images displaying the Initma Media Thickness (IMT) of the carotid artery can be delivered to AtheroPoint™ utilizing one of the data transfer methods listed below:

  • Secure FTP:  patient reports can be transferred using a secure FTP account which will be setup on the AtheroPoint server.
  • Compact Disc: Physicians can ship Compact Disc with patient reports that are to be analyzed by AtheroPoint.
  • Physicians could provide access to their data server for AtheroPoint to download the images for analysis and report generation.

The power of AtheroEdge™ is in helping early diagnosis through speedy and accurate reporting.  AtheroEdge™ provides the user a friendly means of saving, viewing and printing patient reports. Mechanism for reporting measurements

Reports generated by AtheroEdge™ are sent back to the physician via one of the methods listed below.

  • Post results into the secure FTP account created for the ordering physician in AtheroPoint server for download.
  • Ship results via CD
